Some Things I Noticed on Korean Dramas

Son Ye Jin

I spend more than 14 hours a day in front of my PC but not doing my work all the time. Most of these hours are spent watching Korean Dramas which I download during night time. I better stay inside the house the whole day watching drama than doing a window shopping or mall hopping…

So far, I already watched nearly a hundred of Korean movies and dozens of Korean Dramas, and still doing it almost everyday. It’s fun but sometimes it’s making my time worthless.. lol

Though I enjoy watching these dramas, there are several things I noticed that sometimes loses my interest during the course of viewing….

  1. They can’t get married unless approved by their parents.
  2. Many dramas ended with dead protagonist.
  3. Many dramas having a revenge/vindication theme.
  4. Most of the times, they didn’t hold each other during kissing scenes.
  5. Parents have strong influence in their children’s relationships.
  6. They are always promoting beautiful places in South Korea like Jeju island, Incheon, Seoul, etc.
  7. They are always promoting delicious Korean foods.
  8. Very seldom Korean Drama having no drinking scene. Soju is always present.
  9. Very few Korean Dramas having no piggybacking  because the female protagonist is either drunk or sick.
  10. Very few Korean Dramas having no bike riding.

I’ll add more as I continue watching…. :)

Reactivating My Personal Blog

A Quick Short Note from Me!

After more than a year of idling, I decided to reopen this blog and deleted all previous posts to focus more on personal rather than IM topics.

I missed blogging. I write articles for other people but can’t write for my own purpose. I think I just don’t have time. I missed a lot of topics to write going back last couple of months when I was still working with the company.. I think I was exhausted with what happened and lost time to blog….

Blogging is just a hobby. If you like expressing things about yourself, about other people, news and current events, entertainment, sports, love and marriage, etc, then blogging is just for you. You don’t have to be a professional writer. This is a hobby as I said and no one has the right to criticize your hobby, as much as your writing.

People online understands that Internet is a worldwide property and not just by English-speaking people, so the language concern is not much of a problem. There are some grammar errors here as you read but I don’t care. I am not a writer, I just have dozens of writers working for me :) .

What is blogging?
It’s just an online diary but is becoming a mainstream of Internet Marketing business… We are now on digital world and hard copy diaries are seldom used, that’s why we have blogs.

Radenpayas.com is my forgotten personal blog and now I am trying to rehabilitate it. Follow me for more topics as I will be focusing more on blogging for the benefit of my friends who are always asking “what I am doing online”

Have a Great day!
